The Kind Bikes and Skis started out as The Kind Cyclist in Vail Village in 1992 as a seasonal summer bike shop. It was founded on the basic principle of being kind to customers and dismissing the elitist cycling attitude that can sometimes be found at bike shops. They still carry highend racing bikes, it just means that whether you're purchasing a $10,000 racing bike or a $400 hybrid, they will still be there to answer every question and ensure that all of your needs are met. In 2005 the store had become a ski shop in the winter months and now The Kind Bikes and Skis is a full service bike and ski shop, providing rentals, repair, and retail for all your snow and cycling needs.
