The Colorado Snowsports Museum @ Vail is currently closed and in the final stages of a major $2.4 million renovation and remodel of all of the exhibits.  This major capital project, targeted for completion in February of 2018, will completely transform the Museum experience for visitors and residents alike, featuring all new exhibits and interactive technology that will help bring Colorado’s rich ski and snowboard history to life with a touch of a finger.

The Museum’s new six themed galleries will display artifacts, narratives and film documentaries that entertain and educate all age of visitors.  The history of the famed 10th Mountain Division will continue to serve as the cornerstone of the Museum, while other topics will include Winter Olympics, Skiing and Snowboard history, Vail’s first 50 years, Ski Patrol and the Colorado Snowsports Hall of Fame.
Captivating speakers and guided tours will be available several days each week and the Museum Gift Shop carries a wide variety of unique vintage ski souvenirs and gifts. Non-Profit organization.  Open Daily 10am-6pm.  FREE admission
